A morning dedicated to Florentine Renaissance sculpture: Michelangelo’s David. Accompanied by the professional tour guide, you will hear all the history and secrets about this majestic artwork and together with the sculptor Octavio Palomino you can sculpt the David with a chisel and mallet, freeing it from its block of stone.
The program includes:
– An introduction about the Michelangelo’s David at Accademia Gallery.
– Sculpture workshop using the plaster waste mold technique to obtain a copy of an anatomical detail of the David at Octavio Palomino Sculptor Studio.
– Break with cookies and juice.
The lesson lasts about 4 hours, number of people attending the classes minimum 2 max 6.
